I have been a parent at Gateway Pointe since 2020. I now have two children attending: my son Nasir will be a 3rd grader, and my daughter Leila will be a Kindergartener. I have been actively involved with the school for the last 3 years through PTO involvement and by starting a Garden/ Garden Club with my Sustainability background. I love being active at my kids’ school and enjoy seeing all the students at Gateway flourish into wonderful humans. I enjoy cross-stitching, dancing Hula and Tahitian with my family, and reading in my free time.
Kelsee Whipple

My name is Kelsee Whipple and I am a girl mom of two. My husband Ben is my best friend. I love my family, and I love to spend time with them. I am addicted to soda, and matching outfits with my family brings me a lot of joy. I work part time, but like to spend time on the beach when possible. I am happy to have the opportunity to be a part of the PTO and have loved having my daughter attend school here. It is so fun seeing her learn, grow, and interact with everyone. We truly feel so lucky to be a part of this Gateway community.
Sara Bristoll
VP of Business Partnerships
After joining the PTO Board in 2023, I served as Marketing Coordinator and Secretary. I’m excited to expand my involvement into the VP of Business Partnerships role – working with our existing business sponsors and finding new ones to bring into our mission. I have two kids in school – one only part-time – and an energetic Golden Retriever firmly in his raptor stage.
Away from school, the PTO, and mom life, I work in marketing and communications – where I’ve built a career balancing my love of creativity with my need for organization and structure. I bake and cook as often as I can, read like it’s going out of style, and enjoy going to see live theater whenever possible.

Dave Leatham
IT Specialist
I 2 daughters attending Gateway Pointe Elementary, and this is the last year for the eldest. I enjoy assisting where possible to help make the school experience as great as it can be for the kids. I also am a volunteer coach for the Gateway Cheer squad after having spent many years in gymnastics long ago.
I spent 22 years in IT before becoming an Area Operations Manager for Ace Parking Management. A simple suggestion to update the website somehow landed me on the PTO board, and here we are!
